Client Inappropriate Behavior Policy:

Massage and Bodywork Therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, touch or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return. Inappropriate behavior includes requests for no draping or genital massage.

Winter Snowstorm Policy: If the local school districts are closed, Soothing Sessions Bodywork will also close. I don't like traveling in hazardous conditions, and I don't expect you to, either. Your safety and health are very important to me! I will call and re-schedule you session.

Appointment Cancellation Policy
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

I do need to update you on my 2024 appointment cancellation policies:

* If you are sick, have a fever or are just not feeling well, even if you are in the car on the way to my studio, please contact me to cancel your appointment and reschedule as soon as you are able. This includes taking care of family members. You can call or text me at 920-659-3805 or reach me via Facebook Messenger.

* I have a "One Strike" rule: You are allowed ONE last-minute cancellation OR no-show per year. After that, if you have a gift certificate, my session fee will be subtracted from it to cover my cost. If you are a paying customer, you will be charged the full amount of the session fee you missed. You will not be allowed to make another appointment until that missed session is paid in full.

24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your missed appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” You will be charged for your missed appointment.

Late Arrivals

* If you feel you will be running late for your scheduled appointment with Kimberly, call her immediately at 920-659-3805.

* If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours.

* Depending upon how late you arrive, Kimberly will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment.

* Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session. Out of respect and consideration to Kimberly and fellow clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
